FOR YOUR GLORY
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior… Psalm 127:4
I release my pain to be used for Your glory, I sacrifice my sorrow to share with others, leaving them both at the foot of the Cross. My tears are as arrows, to the depth of my soul. Your love released from the Cross free to flow. My heart goes nowhere that your love does not show, My pain is a showcase of your glory and love. A gift I was given, a tear I must bear. A child, like an arrow, released for Your glory.
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. Revelation 21:4
Designed for His glory, the arrow at the base of the Cross symbolizes two things: First, it represents the piercing pain our heart encounters with the loss of our child. Second, that we are as warriors, aiming and releasing our children to Heaven for God’s glory. The tear drop symbolizes our journey of grief. The Cross is God’s symbol of His never ending love for us. The heart is symbolic of our never ending love for our children.
As we release our tears ans surrender our pain at the foot of the Cross, God’s perfect, healing love begins to flow, to fill our hearts with peace, and to restore us to wholeness.
I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow. Jeremiah 31:13
